Rachel Zaback (She/Her)

About this speaker

Rachel Zaback (She/Her) is a proud queer, transgender, and autistic/neurodiverse woman from Ferndale, MI. She is a high school science teacher, a member and volunteer of her local LGBTQ+ and disabled communities, and has been working alongside Stand With Trans as a panelist since Spring 2019. Her proudest experiences include serving on her city's disability inclusion advisory commission, her facilitation of a weekly intersectional support group for queer disabled community members at her local LGBTQ+ community center Affirmations, and her past work as a faculty advisor for her high school's GSA club. When she's not teaching or volunteering, Rachel enjoys playing tabletop games with friends, biking to the coffee shop, and relaxing at home with her girlfriend, her cat, and her dog. She's excited to be here again this Trans Empowerment Month and to talk about her intersectional experiences with trans and autistic identity!
